MONDAYS

Crazy for Clay! Advanced (3rd-5th)

Students will use their class knowledge to create advanced sculptures. Students will be challenged each week to complete a sculpture with certain criteria. They will be able to experiment and explore the techniques they know with new techniques to create unique masterpieces.

 

LEGO® SPIKE™ Essential Robotics (K-5th)

Children will have the opportunity to build and code their very own robots using LEGO® SPIKE™ kits! By integrating LEGO® blocks with codeable hubs, cameras, sensors, and using Scratch-based programming, students will create robots that dance, sense objects, follow routes, and even drive themselves. Projects throughout this course provide a little taste of where robotics can be applied, such as amusement parks, automotives, and outdoor exploration!

 

Flag Football (3rd-5th)

In this super active program, players will learn the basics of flag football. Each day will end with full games, but will begin with lead-up games and skill building to help them hone their skills of throwing, catching, dodging, and flag pulling. Players will also learn how to run a huddle and create plays to share with teammates to make the most out of each snap.

TUESDAYS

Origami Arts (3rd-5th)

In this engaging course, students will learn about the history and future of origami alongside hands-on practice with origami folding. Each day, students will learn the importance of perseverance and direction following.  Additionally, students will grow their origami abilities and work towards the creation of a final project. All levels of origami experience are welcome!

 

Crazy for Clay! The Sequel (K-2nd)

This is a continuation of the clay techniques that students have learned in Art class. Students will use their knowledge of how to make coils, slabs, and pinchpots to create more advanced sculptures. Students will learn new ways to construct clay to create sculptures, and learn new techniques to create texture and detail by adding and subtracting clay. At the end of the classes, students will complete their sculptures by glazing their final artworks. 

 

Acting Improv Adventures: Spring Edition (2nd-5th)

In this class, young performers step into the spotlight with laugh-out-loud activities! Each season offers fresh experiences through lively improv games and interactive acting exercises, focusing on storytelling and imaginative exploration instead of traditional scripts. Participants will think on their feet while enhancing their communication skills, stage presence, and teamwork in the exciting world of improvisation. Parents are invited to join us for a special mini-performance during the final class.

WEDNESDAYS

Chess (K-5th)

Learn chess with Silver Knights Chess Academy (formerly Magnus Chess Academy), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

 

 

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. TGA Afterschool Junior Golf (K-5th)

GET READY TO PUTT, CHIP, AND DRIVE WHILE HAVING FUN WITH TGA!

 

Our trained and verified coaches combine athletics, academics, and life lessons to create fun and engaging golf programs.

 

We include sport skill development, rules & etiquette lessons, physical activity, and a steam component that examines the concepts through the lens of the sport.


All equipment is provided.

 

STEAMCraft: Minecraft Science (1st-5th)

In a world focused on creativity and imagination, Minecraft is an adventurous title that kids can’t get enough of. Have you ever thought about how we can apply some of those concepts to real life? This class will bring to life many of the in game experiences using SCIENCE! From Creeper slime to item enchantments, we will be putting on our lab coats and dissecting the wonderful world of Minecraft.

Glam Smart Academy (4th-5th)

Glam Smart Academy is an innovative program designed to empower the next generation of cosmetic scientists by blending STEM education with the art of beauty. Students will learn how to create organic skincare products using plant-based ingredients while exploring the science behind cosmetics. They’ll also gain valuable entrepreneurship skills, from product branding to marketing, giving them the tools to launch their own beauty brand. The program fosters creativity, problem-solving, and business insight, preparing children for success in both STEM and the beauty industry. With a focus on sustainability, Glam Smart Academy encourages young learners to break barriers and lead in the ever-evolving world of beauty science.

 

Dinosaur Drama (K-2nd)

Jurassic times call for Jurassic measures — it’s time to make some dinosaur drama! Join ETC to play all the best dinosaur-themed drama games and collaborate to make new dinosaur tales for that stage. Through games and stories, young paleontologists will gain a better understanding of storytelling and acting using dinosaur creativity.

 

Engineer Race Cars (1st-5th)

Hit the racetrack with RoboThink! In this thrilling camp, students will not only build and race a variety of different race cars, they’ll also be learning about different parts of a car like the transmission, pistons and differentials! No prior experience necessary, just make sure to wear your racing gloves!
